Proud of Zara Rizvi at the African Youth Championship

We are incredibly proud of our student, Zara Rizvi, for her outstanding performance at the African Youth Championship.

Zara began the tournament ranked 29th and finished an impressive 11th, scoring 5.5 out of 9 in her first-ever participation at this prestigious event. Her result alone is remarkable—but what makes it even more inspiring is the determination she showed throughout the competition.

Despite being very ill during the final two days—struggling with vomiting and unable to eat—Zara pushed herself until the very end. Her resilience, courage, and fighting spirit truly embody what it means to be a competitor.

We are immensely proud of her achievement and dedication, and we look forward to seeing Zara compete next at the Mzansi Championship, which will be held in Port Elizabeth. We have no doubt she will continue to grow and shine on the board.
